I am a clinical counsellor who specializes in Perinatal Mental Health, Grief and Loss, Fertility Stress, Family-Building, and Family Transitions. Much of my work includes supporting individuals and couples who are hoping to start a family and who may be experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, and loss in their journey toward parenthood. I also work with many individuals and couples who may be struggling with the demands of a new baby.
I have worked in a diverse range of programs throughout Vancouver, encompassing residential care, outreach work, community projects, child protection, parent coaching, and private consulting. I have led various family programs including parenting classes and couples seminars. I continue to be a passionate advocate for children and parents, working to enrich the lives of diverse families.
In addition to my Masters degree in Counselling, I have a Diploma in Child and Youth Care and am a trained Parenting Facilitator. I have also undertaken training as a Certified Perinatal Bereavement Specialist and support parents who have had to endure the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, or newborn death. I continue to augment my work by staying current with the latest research so that I can provide clients with effective and informed support. This includes specialized training in the areas of maternal mental health, relationship wellness, reproductive psychology, and attachment-based interventions.
I look forward to being a part of your transformational journey.
